Tyler Shamblin
Wealth Advisor
As a financial advisor, I’m coming up on 5 years of serving clients in the Memphis area and beyond, and I’m currently in my first year at Century Financial. Since joining the firm, I am so encouraged with the level of service to clients that our team delivers. We are passionate about providing financial advice that is objective, professional, and personal.
I came to financial services because of my 12th grade English teacher. As puzzling as it sounds, he assigned us a summer reading project about financial literacy. After my first week in class, he pulled me aside and said that I understood the concepts better than most of my peers, and he encouraged me to consider a career out of helping others with money—and that’s exactly what I did. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Mississippi College School of Business, then went on to get my Series 7 & 66 licenses, as well as my life and health insurance licenses. I'm currently working toward obtaining a CFP® designation.
I’m a proud husband to Claire and father to Ivy. The three of us juggle time between sports like softball, pickleball, tennis, and basketball. We also spend lots of time with our spoiled-rotten golden retriever, Tucker. We are actively involved at Germantown Baptist Church, where I have the privilege of serving as a deacon and teaching a small group.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my experience as an advisor, it would be that it doesn’t matter where anyone else is financially. Your journey is unique, and you deserve customized advice. I may know a lot about investments, financial planning, and wealth management, but I’m not an expert on you—so let’s get to know each other!
