In 1998, despite having a young family at home, Julie fulfilled her lifelong dream of opening a home accessories store. Together with her business partner, they grew their business into a successful multi-store venture, offering furniture, case goods, and upholstery. Julie’s success in home design led to opportunities for remodeling and construction, and eventually, she sold her equity in the store to open her own design firm. With a contractor's license and a dedicated team, Julie built a thriving business that she led for more than 20 years. One of her notable accomplishments was decorating the Arkansas governor's office, showcasing her talent and reputation for high-end design. Retiring this year at age 70, Julie’s journey has been driven by passion, dedication, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
